We host favorites like the annual Neighborhood Yard Sale (which supports Care for Real), our beautiful Garden Walk, block parties, seasonal plant swaps, Halloween festivities, and holiday decorating contests. Whether you’re volunteering, attending, or just meeting new neighbors, these events are a great way to get involved and celebrate everything that makes Edgewater Glen special.

Neighborhood Yard Sale
Held each June, the Edgewater Yard Sale is a favorite neighborhood tradition that brings residents together for a fun day of shopping and community spirit. Participants host sales from their yards or alleys alongside the Edgewater Chamber’s Sidewalk Sale. Registration ($10 per household) supports Care for Real, our local food pantry.

Garden Walk
The Edgewater Glen Garden Walk, a tradition since 1973, showcases the neighborhood's lush gardens and green thumbs. Held annually in July, the event alternates between East and West Edgewater Glen to highlight the diverse horticultural efforts of residents. Participants open their gardens to the public, offering inspiration and fostering community pride. A suggested donation supports the Edgewater Glen Association's ongoing initiatives.

Plant Swap
Twice a year, in spring and fall, neighbors gather to exchange plants, seeds, and gardening tips at the Edgewater Glen Plant Swaps. Even if you don't have plants to share, you're welcome to join and take home some greenery.
