Stay Connected Through EGA Meetings

The Edgewater Glen Association (EGA) fosters community engagement through regular meetings that welcome all residents. These gatherings provide opportunities to stay informed, voice concerns, and participate in neighborhood initiatives. EGA hosts two primary types of meetings: monthly Board Meetings and seasonal Public Meetings.

Monthly Board Meetings

EGA Board Meetings are typically held on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 PM in the St. Gertrude’s Ministry Office, located at 6214 N Glenwood Ave. These meetings are open to all residents, offering a platform to discuss ongoing projects, upcoming events, and neighborhood concerns. While the schedule generally follows a monthly cadence, occasional adjustments may occur due to holidays or special events. Residents are encouraged to check the EGA calendar for the most up-to-date information.

Seasonal Public Meetings

In addition to monthly board meetings, EGA organizes one to two Public Meetings each year, typically in the spring and fall. These larger gatherings focus on broader community topics and often feature guest speakers, such as local alderpersons or police commanders, to address current issues and developments affecting the neighborhood. Public Meetings provide an inclusive forum for residents to engage directly with community leaders and contribute to the dialogue on neighborhood matters.
