Block Party Guidelines

Block captains—please let us know when your block party is scheduled by emailing egachicago@gmail.com. We’ll post it on our website so neighbors can plan ahead for parking, deliveries, parties, and more.

Important Note:
To avoid traffic and congestion please do not schedule block parties during major neighborhood events.

Thank you for helping keep our streets open during these high-traffic events.

Please note: a City of Chicago permit is required to host a block party. You can find permit information and apply through the city’s website. Let us know once your permit is approved so we can help spread the word!
